New Holland GT20 engine spec #

I have a New Holland GT20 water-cooled Kawasaki powered garden tractor. The engine model is FD620D-xxxx. I am trying to find out what the xxxx spec# is. The sticker is long gone on the crankcase cover on the front of the engine. The only engine information I have is on the air cleaner housing. FD620D:Manufacture date 2/98. The garden tractors serial # is T8AB0294 with a component #716498006. I would appreciate it greatly if someone could help.

I have the service manual for the Kaw FD620D.

It was published in 1999.

I am looking for the spec # of the Kawasaki engine that New Holland used in the GT20. I like to price out parts from other places other than NH as they are out of their minds on what they charge for some parts. Most places want the engine spec number to guarantee fitment and that I do not have. I already have a service manual for the FD620D. Thanks for your response.

Kawasaki has discontinued many/most parts for their liquid cooled twins. I wish I could help you with a spec number, but I cannot. We had a Deere 445? With a kawi liquid cooled engine in the shop a couple months back. We are a Kawasaki dealer and we had to go to Deere for valve cover gaskets.
If I owned one I would be looking for a new home for it.

Thanks for the info RickB. I have about 2100 hours on the kawi engine so it and the rest of the machine doesn't owe me much. I just want to keep it going as long as possible but considering the cost of doing so, it may not be worth it much longer.
