The DK series are good tractors and are more than capable of square baling. For round baling you need a bigger tractor.
Everyone tries to up sell you on hp for baling hay but it's not necessary. If you have hills then you need more weight and then you may need more hp but the trade off is wasting fuel and money up front for no added benefit if you get too big.
New Holland's TN series are low profile tractors. They were available down to 65 hp. Many manufacturers made/ make low profile tractors for poultry operations that range from 60hp up.
Compact tractors sit lower because they use smaller wheels and tires.
You have to balance the size of your operation and it's income with the tractor you buy.
I am down to haying 15 flat acres and growing on 4 for example and no longer need a full size ag tractor so I am moving to a large frame compact.
