I got mine yesterday too. Wasn't too sure what to look for. Wasn't overly concerned about it at first - until I saw what and where it was happening. Guess I'll be making the call here in a few minutes....... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I got one as well, it does state "To eliminate this concern, your New Holland dealer will install a new fitting". They probably have a lower profile piece to put on there.

Actually they are replacing the fittings with a new lower profile fitting. They are not turning the cylinders over.

That's what I figured. It really is a good design with the fittings well protected, they just didn't allow enough clearance by a very small fraction of an inch. Probably won't even be able to tell the difference with the new fitting unless it is a different style.

My dealer thinks they will probably take care of things as a field visit, not sure until they get the parts in.

I had a look at my 18LA FEL and the fitting is located like on the 16LA, offset 90° from the one in the back. Guess we got lucky there. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I looked at mine last night. Mine has "hit" yet, but I could see where if I got a piece of dirt or rock in there how it could be a bit of a problem. Though while I was looking around I noticed I did have some type of fluid leak. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. It is on the left side of the transmission housing, running right down behind where the clutch linkage is. Guess now I have to add something else to my list for the dealer to take a look at and fix before the warranty runs out.....

I just checked my 14LA (2004 TC33DA, Manual Trans, 14LA Loader and lots of other toys) and the fittings are at 90 degrees to the top, so there is no risk of hitting the loader frame. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Have a great day!

I fianlly went and looked tonight. I have different fittings than Brad has on his. I have not received a recall as of yet either. Maybe mine is newer /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif and has already gotten the new fittings. Although I'm approaching 2 years soon?
