At the dealers current selling price, I think I would be lucky to break even if I leave the loader in its current condition and blue color. The Dx29 is very low hours and in excellent condition. Putting the loader on as it currently is significantly detracts from the overall condition of the tractor. I will let the idea sit for awhile and call another dealer I know well and get a true price of a new loader. $4350 seems a little high for a new loader without any control valves or quick attach bucket. Maybe I am off on the price of a new loader with the increasing steel prices.
I know you are smart enough and will do what makes the most sense. But as it is right now it is looking like it isn't going to make sense to add the loader just to hope to break even. Even if they drop the price another $1k you will not be making much extra on the deal to really warrant the trouble. But it would be a fun winter project if you need one
