None that I know of for sure. The only series of NH tractors whose origin I do not know is the TT55 and TT75 tractors. All the rest are not built in India.
Case-IH Farmall 45A, Kubota M8540 Narrow, New Holland TN 65, Bobcat 331, Ford 1920, 1952 John Deere M, Allis Chalmers B, Bombardier Traxter XT, Massey Harris 81RC and a John Deere 3300 combine, Cub Cadet GT1554
Rick, aren't the TT's the Mexico built tractors? If I recall they are the same as the 10s series they replaced but with new sheet metal. If I remember right the 55 is the 3010s and the 75 is the 5610s. And the TB replaced the 6610s and 7610s. Same tractors just revised. If I am right it would be safe to assume they are built in the same place.
As for India, it is possible NH has an agreement for India sourced tractors to be sold overseas. I know CNH, JD and Agco all sell tractors that are different then what you can find in the US as well as tractors that are the same as in the US.
Case/New Holland sells more ag equipment than any other manufacturer in the world, or at least that is what an investment summary I recently read stated. They make their various brands all over the globe. I'd bet that just like the other big tractor brands, they probably have plants in India and many many other countries, that said, I've never seen any New Hollands made FOR the US market that are made in India.
The countries that make New Holland tractors sold in the US are Canada, Italy, Mexico, Japan, I am not sure if anything is still made in england, and of course we still build some bigger ones here. Besides the assembly plant in Georgia.
Not sure enough on the LB's to debate it. They did drop the Basildon engine in in the LB's in favor of the NEF. Looks like the end of the line for the Ford engine that came out in 1965.
Ford 4000; Ford 2000(both 3cyl.);JD40; 2004 Kubota L4300; 2006 Kubota B7610; new 2007 Kubota MX5000
"...end of the line for the Ford engine that came out in 1965."
Dunno 'bout that Rick; kinda hope you're wrong. Don't they live on in the Indian made Farmtracs? Those tractors are supposedly built in India in plants that formerly built tractors for Ford. Have heard that a great many parts from the Fords built in the 70's will bolt right onto the new Farmtracs; and vice versa. Engine displacements (from 156 to 200 cu. in.) are the same as the old Fords and, I think, bore and stroke is too. Of course all I have is hearsay. Can anyone confirm this?
Bob
I meant the original, not a knockoff. Ford never built tractors in India, they may have bought some old tooling to use there. I think the interchangeability between Ford and Farmtrac diminishes when you get closer than 10 feet to one.
