I am looking to upgrade my JD 3032E, mainly using it for logging / firewood with some brush hogging and trail maintenance as well. I built a log trailer to haul 10' logs out from the woods, it works well but the 3032E is definitely getting pushed past it's limits. The 3032E is certainly nice for maneuvering and using the grapple in the woods but it really struggles to pull up hills even with the trailer partially loaded. I use IBC totes to store and transport split wood, and even with relief pressure turned up the 3032E struggles to lift the totes. I will include a picture of the max load I can haul on my log trailer and a tote that I cannot pick up.
I am looking to size up a bit. I have been thinking about the Mahindra 5155 brand new but recently I found a really nice 96 New Holland 4630 4WD at a local dealer. 1,300 hours.
The New Holland is a little pricey I think at almost $20k but it does look to be very well maintained. It does not have a loader, which I would need to purchase new or find a used one to fit.
I'm looking for opinions and/or experience with either of these tractors to help me choose which to purchase.
