"NEW HOLLAND OFFERS BIGGER BOOMER™ COMPACT TRACTORS
New Holland, PA (May 15, 2007) - The new T2410 and T2420 tractors are the biggest Boomer™ compact tractors New Holland has ever offered. At 55 and 60 horsepower, they have the muscle to power through tough jobs. Both models have a convenient, maneuverable frame size, FWD axle, and ample power. These utility tractors can handle the long list of chores on any job site or farm fast and efficiently.

Designed to run on B5 biodiesel or standard diesel fuels, the T2410’s and T2420’s four-cylinder, 135.2-cu.in. displacement turbocharged engines deliver smooth response and power on demand.

Transmission Choices

Forward-to-reverse shifting is a breeze, making these utility tractors ideal doing loader work, blade work and mowing. A deluxe 12x12 Electro-Hydraulic Shuttle Shift (EHSS) transmission allows the operator to conveniently shuttle between forward and reverse without clutching or stopping and provides a wide range of speeds for increased productivity.

The standard 12x12 Synchro Shuttle Shift (SSS) transmission allows the operator to shift from forward to reverse without coming to a complete stop. Both transmissions provide a convenient left-hand shuttle lever that makes it easy to shuttle without removing your hand from the steering wheel. The operator can dedicate his or her right hand to control the loader joystick or implement.

Comfort Plus™ Operator’s Station

The Comfort Plus™ operator’s station offers a comfortable, spacious and safe working environment. The wide-open platform with anti-skid rubber mat and a wide accommodating seat with improved back and bolster support gives the operator a more comfortable ride. The sloped hood design provides exceptional, best-in-class visibility.

Boomer utility tractors are easy to service and maintain. Engine oil level can be checked on the right-hand side without raising the hood and without removing the loader. For complete access to the engine, simply lift the one-piece, flip-up hood."

Larry,

How long do you think it will be before Case announces the new DX version?

You'd think if 'Comfort Plus' meant cab they'd have specifically mentioned it. Frankly, the Comfort Plus description doesn't sound any different than how they've described Boomers for years. The only difference I see is they've trademarked the name Comfort Plus.

Froggy, that 135.2 cu in. engine is the exact displacement of the current TC45 naturally aspirated diesel engine. I thought they would use the engine out of the TC48 or TC55, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe Larry will get us some nice photos when the tractor arrives at his location.

The DX55's already have the changed parts as of 2/2007 I believe. Mine was delayed for an extra month due to the changes. Look up the parts diagrams and you'll see they now have different parts lists to select from, pre-2/2007 and post-2/2007. If they have indeed changed, I haven't noticed anything obvious on mine. The power steering hydro pump is a different part number on my new model though. I'm hoping that fixes the steering issues noticed by some. The Hydraulic numbers are noted slightly lower on the new models though.
My loader is a model LX360, which is the first I've heard of that number too.

Jinman,
The 135.2 engine is the same as what has been used in the 48s and 55s. I had to go back to look at old literature and compare it to the newest specs to be sure. I didn't realize they used that same size on the 45s!

Exactyly, that's what's so confusing. How is an open cab with no heat or air comfortable at all, let alone "Comfort PLUS???

Show me the plus!

I agree. Comfort Plus sounds like a 'marketing improvement' announcement, not a real product improvement.
