To answer a few questions, some dealers did not know about it because NH notified the customers before the dealers. If you cannot turn your pto shaft to align splines you will not need the campaign done. This pertains to newer units that have a different pto stop plate. The older unit's stop plate has a notch between two ears that hold the ear on the disk in the pto clutch pack stationary so when you disengage the pto the disk in the clutch pack cannot build up any speed before it stops. The down side is that you can't rotate the shaft to align the splines. The newer units have one of the ears removed so you can rotate the pto shaft to align the splines. The down side is that when you disengage the pto, the ear on the disk in the clutch pack may be away from the stop plate, and if you disengage at pto speed or have a high enersia implement, the disk comes around and "slaps" the stop plate. Do this enough times and the ear on the disk will beat it's way through the stop plate and the pto may not stop turning even if it is disengaged. NH has made the stop plate thicker and put a bend in it so it engages more of the ear on the disk in the clutch pack. I would not take a chance, I would have them do it. Hope this helps.
