NEW HOLLAND SMALL TRACTOR QUESTIONS.

My father purchased a CC a few years ago. Other than tires it's been pretty good. I liked the Dixon he had better though. Anyway, it's a MTD product and the Dealer said that MTD builds them to CC specs. It's hard to always believe what the "Dealer said". On the other hand, it doesn't seem far fetched that even though CC, NH, Toro and Sears all come off the same line that some may be built to better standards.

I have been kind of looking for a little blue brother myself.

If you can get a Toro/NH for the same price as a much less well built, cheaper, less technology Cub, Simplicity, etc, you should get the Toro/NH.

Get the one that's been stored inside.

2-4 was just for the tractor with mowing decks
I needed a tiller and a front blade too. Adding those ATTACHMENTS to the tractors the total price of each tractor came out as follows.

The only Toro's built by MTD are the funny looking ones you see at Home Depot. The rest are built by Toro and are well built machine. Nothing cheap about them.

Simplicties are also well built machines. Nothing cheap about them either.

CC is owned by MTD. Most of their lawn and garden tractors are basic MTD machines. Some of the larger machines like 3000 series are built in the same factory that has been making Cubs for years and are decent machines. Some of their larger tractors are asian imports.

Simplicities has every bit the technology and build quality of Toro. In fact Simplicity tractors sell extremely well. Something Toro tractors have lacked for years.

Cub Cadets sell well for price and availablity from Home Depot, Lowes and TSC.

This is why you don't see NH Garden tractors on dealer lots.
