I DROVE MY TN 70 UPON MY TRAILER AND WHEN I STARTED IT TO DRIVE IT OFF, IT WON'T GO FORWARD OR BACKWARDS. CODE 42 IS SHOWING AND I UNDERSTAND THAT IS ELECTRICAL. ANY IDEAS WHERE I COULD START CHECKING THIS OUT MYSELF??? ALSO, WHERE CAN I GET THE MOST RESONABLE PRICED REPAIR MANUAL ON THIS THAT DOESN'T COST $100'S OF DOLLARS. NEW HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Fault code 42 'A' Clutch Pack PWM solenoid or ECM driver short circuit to 12 volts.
Faulty wiring between ECM and Clutch Pack A solenoid.
OR, Faulty A Clutch Pack Solenoid
Or, Faulty ECM
The transmission section of the relevant service manual for your tractor has the fault codes, troubleshooting flow charts, and harness connector pin locations. The electrical section has the schematics, of course. As far as I know, the sections can be purchased separately. The only repair manual worth owning is published by New Holland. Check ebay for cheaper ones, but know EXACTLY what you are buying, preferably by document part number.
