Been looking at a used TN75 4wd and loader 2900 hrs. What are your opinions on them? Anything to look out for?

A common problem with the TN series was leaking seals associated with the 3PH lift arms. Chances are that the seals have been replaced on a tractor with 2900 hours.

Thanks SMS. Are the seals on the top housing where the lift rotates? Or is it internal? I see you have a TN series. How do you like it?

Here are two threads that discuss the problem: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-holland-owning-operating/241318-tn75-hydraulic-leak-3pt-resevoir.html and http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-holland-owning-operating/241014-tn70-name-part-post2810080.html#post2810080.

I have been satisfied with my TN 55, but I have put only 310 hours or so on it since I purchased it new in 2000.

I've got a tn75 2009yr. So far so good. Maybe 900 hours. Snowblowing , bush hogging, and some fel work.

I've got a 2003 model with around 2500 hours. Only thing replaced was the clutch at about 2200 hrs. 3pt seals just now started leaking. I've been happy with the machine. Mainly used for cutting hay, brush hogging, plowing and FEL work.

what kind of transmission does it have? the shuttles that use a computer (on the dash), the computer have been known to fail at some point also having the automatic 4x4 has a weak computer too. i have a 2005 tn75 with super steer, fel and about 800 hours. i absolutely love the tractor. ive owned it about a year and when i bought it the previous owner had replaced both computers before it bought it. $800 per

It has a 12x12 shuttle transmission. Not sure if it has the computer or not. I like the looks of the tractor but think I am going to look a little more as I would like lower hours. But I know I want the 12 speed instead of the 8.

Mine has the 16x16 with mechanical shuttle. Both work very well. IMO, the 16x16 option is worth more.
