Changes often!
I heard through what appears to be a reputable source that NH was dropping most all of their Japanese manufactured (Shibaura) tractors in favor of a lower priced Korean manufacturer. Seems like a big change, since they have been with Shibaura for years and years, and it is a good tractor. Any comments from those "in the know"?

I thought they came from India.

Most brands are manufactured in a wide variety of locations, but I am referring to the compact models, under 50HP. I don't think any of them are Indian.

Dave, I understand that dealers are beginning to order the new Korean-built models. I don't know many details, though. I understand that they are made by LS tractors.

I have heard the Same story from 5 Different reps. I heard that they are Dropping the Shibaura Line for the Lower priced LS South Korean Tractor? I also heard that dealers will not see them until March/April 2011? I don't know if it's just a huge rumor or is it True??? What will be the availability of parts for the New Holland Shibaura's????

So LS will supply New Holland with compacts. I wonder how that works with the NH dealers that are right next to a LS dealer?

LS makes a good product but I wonder if this switch occurs will it harm NH sales in the long run?

Shibaura has been the major supplier for them for many years in the compact line. I would put their products as good as anybody in the market.

I wonder who Shibaura will market their product line to if this comes to pass?

LS must have excess capacity. They already produce for others, are introducing their own line, under their own name this year, in the States, and now this bit of possible news?
