I purchased a used 2008 TT75A and would like to know what the warranty should be on it. I talked to the local dealer and he said there was no warranty once the tractor was no longer owned by the original purchaser regardless of age or hours? Can someone confirm or deny? Thanks

Mine tried to make me pay for warranty repairs even when it was just a couple months old. Good luck if you are having problems. My fuel pump went bad and they spent three months rebuilding the injection pump and a lot of other stupid things before I finally got it back right. They tried to make me pay for the parts they threw on it while guessing.

I looked at a used NH and the seller said the warranty was transferable. I suspect he was right. Makes me leery of the OP local dealer.

I would imagine it would have to be transfered through the manufacturer. If a dealer takes in a trade, they will advertise the remaining warranty and transfer it to the new buyer. If he bought his tractor from an individual, the warranty was not transfered, but maybe it could be by a dealer. This is only my best guess to the process. Maybe a dealer can speak up about this.

I believe New Holland tractor warranties are transferrable.

They were when I bought my 7610s slightly used. It had the ballance of factory warranty on it.. I even used that waranty right after purchase, as the pto shield was mangled and needed replacing.. looks like a pin in the hinge fell out and let the shield bend.

My extended warranty ( and I was dumb not reading all the fine print ) didn't cover the condensation in the instrument panel, the frozen tilt wheel option, the sticky hydro pedal that wouldn't return to neutral or the good battery acid leak. The dealer wanted to " bring it in, fix everything, AND then submit it to New Holland for reinbursement ". I spoke with the rep and he said engine, drive line only. Even though they had problems with the above listed items they wouldn't budge.
My new 55 was supposed to be picked up three different times ( on their nickle ) for the block heater that wasn't installed and a thermostat because it never got out of the cold indication. Also they were supposed to check the hydraulic pressure because I felt it was a little under the rated pressure.
Well its been three years and nothing has happened but promises. The temp did improve according to the guage so I will buy another heater and thermostat when I change fluid this summer. I bought a liquid pressure guage and with a short piece of hose I should be able to check the hydraulic pressure.
The two things that really got my attention was running out of fuel 200' from the delivery truck and finding NO oil in the front axle. Now I know why there was no setup charge !

And this relates how to the OP?

I'm glad I chose T&B Equipment of Bangor, Maine to buy my tractors! Though both have been new, there has been NO issues with warranty followup. My TZ25 developed the seat pan cracks and I reported it 1 week before the warranty expired. Repair was rushed to ensure there were no "Sorry, out of warranty" issues. The other few items I have had fail have been given to me after a verbal explanation of what the issue was so I could replace them myself. I'm 50 miles from them, so this is a win/win for both of us. I like doing my own work and it saves the hassle of getting the tractor there along with being without my baby for any length of time.

The salesman has been very responsive to questions and issues, and the Regional Sales Rep was also very responsive to an issue involving my T2220 that was held hostage by another, I'll leave unnamed, dealer in N.H.

So, choose your dealers wisely and I think many warranty issues that are blamed on NH will be eliminated. I have two other NH dealers that are less than half as far away as T&B, but I'd never consider using them at this point.
