Do not confuse the TT (Mexico) with the older TTA and now Workmaster/Farmall from India as they are not the same tractors. With that said, the older TT units did share some components, but I would not say that the TTA units were based on the TT.
The WM/Farmall 45/55 models have the shuttle with inboard planetary. The engines are Shibaura and barrowed from the larger compacts. The 65/75 still have the external bull gears (planetary) and use the Iveco engines.
These tractors are built with the price in mind and whether you prefer to move up to the next class should be based on personal preference and not performance or quality.
The FWD axles are similar to the axles used on the old TN units I believe and are built in Turkey and shipped to India. The same can be said for the WM styling.
