Here's a close-up of the exterior faucet to the left of the door. As you can see, we have hot water available on this one and on one on the rear of the house. Will be nice when washing cars in the winter to have warm water available.

Front door transom window really makes for a class look. Very nice detail.

The exterior HVAC units have been set and hooked up. We ended up with a dual fuel heatpump, I think 16 SEER. Having a hard time keeping all the specs straight. Still have to get the propane hooked up.

Thanks, Cliff. My wife and I envisioned the front door being stained, inside and out. However, the side lights and transom came pre-primed on the outside, so we painted the door and sidelights the same color that, from a distance, kinda looks stained.

I'll have an interior view coming up shortly.

The reason I took so many pictures today was to get my post count up to 1000. Now that I'm a Veteran Member, I have achieved my life-long goal and see no reason to post any more pictures. That you all for your time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's an exciting shot of the footers for the posts that will support the screened porch. We've been waiting a long time for enough dry weather to get this done. Once the posts are in, we can tile the porch floor.

OK, here's some interior shots. I don't think I've shown the guest shower since its been grouted and the fixtures in. So, here it is.

With that disclaimer, this is the color chosen for my daughter's room. I'm not sure if they used paint or Pepto Bismal.

Here's her bath. Thankfully, the color has been toned down a bit. I'm not sure how well the color was reproduced in this picture, but its a very light greenish color.

My son's bedroom and bath will be painted a dark brown and his bath has the same beadboard wainscoating (so does the guest bath and the master water closet (or toilet room, as I call it).

I took a few pictures of some of the light fixtures my wife selected. All are in a dark bronze color to match the plumbing fixtures in the kitchen and door hardware. Its a theme, I'm told. Thank goodness this was not left up to me. I will say (and I think you'll agree) that it does give the home an "old timey" kind of look, which is what we were going for.
