I think I am going to get some soon. I think they will be well worth it.

I figured out what the real problem is with the arms. I was looking at the brocure and noticed the upper arms are bolted to the ouside of the lower arms. On mine they are bolted to the inside. If I move them to the outside I can also use the other mounting holes and lower the arms. I think that will be more comfortable as well.

I also went out and mowed the small hill right up next to the road with it yesterday. It is about the width of the mower but pretty steep. When I originally did that area I couldn't get up on the hump since I was still getting used to controlling it. I got right up there and had no problem at all yesterday though. I have found a little trick when driving sideways on a hill. Use the lower side to control the speed and steer by varying the speed of the upper side. If you try to steer with the lower side you end up squirming all over the place since the front end wants to go downhill.

Hustlers are great machines. I bought a Hustler Fastrak 20hp/52" a couple of years ago and it served me well. This year I upgraded (added) a used 2005 Hustler Super Z 28EFI/60" and have used it several times this year. If you have more than a acre of grass to cut these ztr machines are a MUST. I went from cutting grass for 4-5 hours with a lawn tractor to 1.5 hours with the Fastrak to 45 minutes with the Super Z! It is one bad machine and can cut at it's top speed of 15mph, but I usually mow at about 10mph due to bumps. It is the best piece of equipment I have bought for my property next to the BX24. Now what to due with the Fastrak? I will probably sell it...I thought I would use it for trim work and smaller spaces, but it hasn't been used since I got the Super Z.

You want to trade it for a hardly used 60" finish mower.:D My wife has mentioned she wouldn't mind helping but I actually enjoyed mowing for a change last time. If I got her one then everyone would be happy.

I just won an auction for the flex forks for $104 on e-bay. Figured it was a pretty good deal.

Wow...$104 for the flex forks is a good deal. They retail for $199. I have been eye balling them on ebay as well. I think I will get them in the near future too. There's nothing like a big commercial ztr...they are just bad *****. I always told my Dad when the family property was mine that I would buy a big machine to cut all of the grass as fast as possible...my Dad and Uncle used to cut it all with 30" Gravely's and push mowers...the heck with that. He and my Uncle have passed but I don't think they would have argued with my decision. I firmly believe in working smarter not always harder...even at modest $$$ investment. These units are pricey but it was worth every penny to spend much less time cutting grass and more time enjoying life. Gotta pay to play...

Were these Hustler parts? Also, where were they listed?

If you are talking about the flex forks on ebay...I usually find them doing a seach for "hustler z" or "hustler mower"

Yes that is what I was talking about - just bought a project and considering a couple of upgrades - Looks like there is a company up North that must make the seats for mowers and tractors - most of them seem very similar.
