I have a new idea model 100 drop spreader with a grass seeder on the back I would like to know if anyone else has one and if they could post pictures because I am trying to restore mine. I would also like to know the year and how much they are worth.

I've looking for a drop spreader, preferably with seeding capability, in the '4-5' range. Does anyone still make them? I've only been able to find the small (42") units designed for lawn tractors. Thanks.

I have the exact same. Paint looks about the same as yours. Did you remove the lids? Did you remove the grass seed box? I havent done anything to mine yet other than replace a tire and grease it up. Removed the seeder box as it was froze up, hoping to someday rebuild that. But the main spreader works great for lime spreading.

Yeah I took the lids off and painted them I also took off the seeder box and started sanding it down to paint. My seeder box isn't froze up though. Does yours have the gauge thing on the agitator shutter lever?

yes mine has the gauge. Checked the tag on mine its also a model 100 and serial number is 10f.
Nice job on the paint! Did you sandblast it?
