new implement barn w/out electric. generator or 12v?

I have a similar situation at my place. There's a storage shed on the other side of the pasture that doesn't have power to it. I put in one of the HF solar shed lights for when I go out there to get something at night. It's not very bright, but I can find something if I already know where it is. If I have to search for something, I take a flashlight. The shed also happens to be where I keep my generator, and if I need power I pull the cord and plug in. It may be once a year that I need 110v at that shed.

As for heat, here's my experience... My detached garage is unheated, and I do a lot of projects year round. I use a Kerosene space heater, and it works okay. Unless your shed is built air tight, you should not have a problem with carbon monoxide build-up or oxygen depletion. If you have concerns, crack a window or a door 1/4" to provide a little fresh air. For reference, I live in Idaho where winters are long and cold.
