Hello Everybody:
I am new to the world of tractors (other than the garden variety) and do appreciate all the great posts on such a wide variety of topics. It has been very informative and helpful as I head down the road to my first tractor purchase.
We have 25 acres just north of Perth Ontario. I am looking for a compact tractor to bushhog the fields that are starting to get overgrown. Hawthorne is starting to encroach. There is fencing to do and general maintenance and landscaping needed around the farm. So we are looking at something in the 40-45 hp range that can handle bushhogging, post hole digging, moving dirt and eventually snowblowing.
I am currently looking at the Branson 4720 which seems to fit the bill nicely. Nice heavy tractor that ticks all the boxes. But then yesterday we visited a dealer selling LS tractors, and they too seem to be a good unit.
Lots of fun.
Cheers
Peter
