Thanks for the replies. The Ag Expo is a great idea that, sadly, I didn't have the time to make happen. Tulare is a good 4+ hours from my place.

davrow, bcp: I'll be between Hemet and Temecula. Sounds like I might have some local mentors? And perhaps some local input on which dealerships and equipment rental to go to and which to avoid.

deerseeker001: I used to live in Wisconsin. Whereabouts are you? I'll always have a soft spot for that state. Those winters finally chased me away though.

I talked my wife into making it a 3 day trip - we stayed in Visalia. We actually only attended 2 days, too worn out for the 3rd day. :laughing:

Hm, probably not from me - I got a quote from Pauley Equipment in Temecula, but they are not normally open Saturdays and we were only in town for weekends, so it did not work out. I haven't rented any heavy equipment, but rented the Kubota BX25 for a weekend from Home Depot in Murrieta.

I actually purchased from Jacobsen in Escondido.
