Hi,
Spent a long time lurking and finally joined the site.
I used a lot of the older posts on here to purchase my first tractor for our "new" home out in WV. I wound up buying a New Holland TC25D with a bucket loader on it about a year ago.
Figured I was good to go at that point, but being a military guy (and the son of a military guy) I'm finding out I don't know much about farming. I've managed to drive the tractor around, cut some grass, and pull some stumps without hurting anyone, but I'm hoping to do more.
Our property has about 10-15 acres of hay (still trying to figure out how to estimate acres) that it looks like I'll need to do something with.
I also wanted to put a food plot or two for deer (turkey?) and we hope to grow a garden as well.
Looks like a great group of folks on here and I hope to learn a lot.
