I know alot of you guys are wanting to see the new 1026r and the Power Show Ohio may be your chance. It the 28-30 of January at the Columbus expo center. That's were I first saw alot of the new Deere models over the years.

My dealer said they will be getting one or some middle of March.

The 1023e and 1026r are now on Deere.com builder with price and specs. No photos yet. From the manual the hood looks like a hybrid of the 2305 and 2210 hoods. What I don't see and was hoping for was shift on the fly tranny like the Cub/yanmar which would come in handy for dirt/loader work. 1026 does have position control on the hitch and tilt wheel, cruise control. Both appear to have folding ROPS. Haven't seen any specifics on a suspended seat though. I also really really hope they don't take away the HDAP tire option!

Guy's I put my name in at my local dealer to order one when they start taking them, around mid February I was told and delivery sometime in march. I can't wait. I Was quoted $19,600 for tractor with front loader and backhoe, setup.

I just want one for the improved seat and fender gas tank. Just today was straining to hoist a 6 gallon can of diesel over the side of the FEL on my 2210. UGH! Spilled about a quart!

I saw the 1026r today at a local show... got a few pics of it. Seems very user friendly compared to the 2000 series.
