New Jinma 284 Owner with Hydraulic Pump Pressure Question

Yes have the 150micron in line to the pump. Clearly had good flow in that on restart had line open right after the pump into 5 gal bucket and to was pumping well. If I want the 10micron filter I assume I would put into the return line after diverter valve which over time would get most of the oil but not the oil going to the 3pt? Also any worries about pressure for that unit or is it just a standard filter with a bypass?

You could put a 10 micron return line filter into that line that runs from the diverter and steering down the LEFT side of the tractor and into the side of the reservoir. There is a steady flow down that line so a fair ammount of fluid would make it thru a filter if placed there. Since it is terminated at the reservoir, there is no pressure concerns for a return line filter with an internal bypass as long as the filter is rated for at least as much flow as the pump.

Does your tractor have a hydraulic quick connect on the back, comming off the 3PH control valve? This is for a single acting dump trailer by the way. You can close that 3PH speed reg valve in front of the seat and raising the 3PH control sends the fluid to this port. I put in a return port on top of the filler cap and relocated the vent. With a supply and return port available, I made up a grooming filter to connect between these ports to pass fluid thru a 10 micron filter whenever I am not using the 3PH.

The return port and the filter and hose assembly is pretty straight forward. Drilling and tapping the new vent port farther forward on the reservoir top is a little more involved
