Sandy soil I've got. And this property is low too, so when its wet it is SOFT. Thanks for your feedback, cause the dealer is trying to push the ag tires on their Jinmas. Says they only have a 2" tread. Sounds like it may be 2" too much.

If you can swing it, get the FEL, you won't be sorry.

I highly discourage the use of chains - on tractors with plastic fenders.

Do the smaller Jinma's have plastic fenders? Mine are metal on the 284.

Just depends upon how the importer orders them from the factory. Call'em plastic/fiberglass/composite/whatever - but I've seen non-metal fenders all the way up to the JM454. As a very general rule, usually just the flat topped ones are metal. One exception I've seen is the round metal front fenders on my KAMA. Rears seem to follow "the general rule".
