Actually I have. I have an out of state dealer looking at it for me. He says with the current Kubota incentive it would work out to about 1k more than the 5200. He also has a 5100 he would sell to me for 29,500.

In case you're interested in slightly bigger, I also got a quote on M5660, which is a little heavier with much higher 3pt and FEL capacity than MX series. Price was very little additional. Only about 1k more than mx5200 when comparably equipped. Options I priced in the M5660 were 2 remotes, canopy, fel, hd bucket, kubota factory 3rd function kit installed, lights. Dealer came back with 35k quote for all that on the M5660 before trade, cash back, discounts or any negotiation.

The issue with jumping to the M series is he will lose the hydrostatic transmission. Good point though on the capability increase with a small price increase.

If the MX5200 is anything like the 5100s engine setup, you can replace the turbo assembly and get the 62/64hp available in that engine. The 5100 had all of the exact same parts in the engine as the highest output available in the engine which was 62hp I believe. Seems Kubota realized this and has started offering the engine with a different turbo creating the MX5800. The swap only required the larger turbo and turning up the injection pump slightly. Might take a good look at the parts diagram, I believe the 4700 could also take a turbo, of course there would be a few extra pieces needed for plumbing the exhaust and intake.

if you want to step up in even more hp the tractors with the hydro shuttle are super easy to operate.

I have a two year old MX 5100. Think about the gear drive with shuttle, Pure raw power, ALL the time. I love it. Great tractor on our hilly, wooded 80 acres

Well I got a call from the local dealer and I am meeting him tomorrow for the final deal on the 5200. Box scraper, La1065 loader, block heater, R4 loaded, bucket with bolt on cutting edge and hst. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the input.

Yes I am sure you are correct. I couldnt believe what I could do with the 2620. I know its not like an of us to find something we just have to try and move. I cant wait!!! Next I will be looking for a grapple for it. I even got the wife on board if you can imagine. lol
