Boris, when I ordered my accessories my dealer told me that any cab parts that start with vc ( I believe) would allow you to make a cab.

Thanks, apparently that's not what I have on order. Just got this one week before last. the top & lights are still on order but the part #'s just start with a V only.

Boris look at this link to Kubota, you can see where the part number starts with "VC" if it works with a cab enclosure. If you don't have the part numbers ask your dealer what they are or if they are compatible with the cab modules you can put together at any time. To save a little money right now, I held off on the doors and rear panel. Next thing I will buy sometime in the future is the back panel, if I would of bought anything else at this time I believe it would of been the rear panel. Oh well that is the way it goes. I am happy with what I purchased.

Are you having "stuck shifter" problems with your new RTV-X900 ?

Just a little. Several things I was told to do has helped alot, I don't consider it a major problem at this time. What I do is when I get ready to shut it off, I put my foot on the break, set the emergency brake, place it in neutral then shut it off. This seems like a lot to do but it really isn't. You probably should set the emergency brake when you shut it off. When I take off from it not running I always have my foot on the brake before I shift it into gear. I think only 1 time did I have to place it into reverse first. Haven't been stopped on hills so I don't know if that would be a problem.

Just got mine last week, Camo RTV-X900W. LOVE IT! I am adding the multi accessory switch plate and fuse block. Also adding a Superwinch 4000, wiper and external mirrors. Can't wait to also add a light bar above the winch. Eventually hope to add doors and a rear windshield to keep the cold out. other mods coming later.

Great machine, very happy with it !

Wish list:
1. Keys marked 5, 10, 20 that would limit speed. When clueless adults, kids & friends jump on the machine, it will go 22 mph unsupervised. Because of speed, it got rolled over with injuries to the passenger and needed a twisted dump box replaced. Speed limiting keys would be an easy & inexpensive deterrent to unsupervised youthful exuberance.
2. Automatic parking brake when stopped or engine off
3. Quieter engine, it's annoying LOUD needing ear protection for continuous use.
4. Went back to dealer several times to resolve the stuck shifter issue. Still not fixed. (yes, I know the brake pedal releases hydraulic pressure to the drive train)

Modifications:

Lexan under rear screen to help with engine noise and rain deflector.
Insulation board behind seat to dampen engine noise.
IMAG0101.jpg

Added a dump box protector plate to keep debris from falling between cab and on top of engine.
IMAG0600.jpg

Added rear hitch extender plate that protects the transmission when backing up into a trailer and damaging transmission.
IMAG0603.jpg

The orange lock button keeps getting hooked under my shorts when getting off.
Should be relocated next to FWD lever.

Hopefully Kubota engineers watch this forum. Kubota customer service largely ignored my suggestions. The dealer gets paid for warranty work and wants to sell accessories.

Can you just put it in low range when the kids get on it? The stuck shifter will get better as time goes by. If the dealer can't fix it, ask him for the pages in the manual instructing them how to adjust the cable on the back of the vehicle. Be sure and pump the brakes before shifting that makes a big difference also. Hardly any problems with mine now. There is a bolt on the muffler you need to take out every once in a while. I believe you are supposed to support the rear wheels, start it up and in neutral run the engine (revving it up) while tapping on the muffler. Well I don't do that, I take the bolt off and drive it for awhile. Tapping the muffler every once in awhile.

Here are some mods of mine. Since I have a cab, I put a factory heater in it. Also added rear view camera since when pushing snow the rear window fogs up some (breathing too much). Added lights and flashing lights for plowing snow.
