Kubota 3130HST
I just bought a new 3130HST from Kahn Tractor in Franklin Ct. I got the L723 loader with a HD bucket and hooks. Also a BH90 backhoe w/18inch bucket. The industrial tires loaded w/ rim guard. I delt with Jean she was very nice and honest to deal with .I did a little better than the price they will quote on the phone. They have a big service and parts dept ,and only 25 miles from my house .Now I just have to wait about 2 weeks for the loader to come in !!!!!

Congratulations, that sounds like one heck of a tractor-loader-backhoe combo.

Where abouts in Connecticut is the dealer located? I just might take a road trip someday. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good Luck,

Congrats.. you'll love the package.. I have the same setup.. just got the BH-90 this week so I have yet to play with IT.. but you will love the power.. especially the loader.

The only downside I've had is the wet year.. the R4s like to tear up the turf.. even if you're careful.

I am a new member as well, and I am looking at buying the identical tractor, minus the BH, i am figuring it will run like 18.5 - does that sound right? Can you purchase it w/o the BH and add it on later? Is the BH drven thru the PTO or hydraulic lines? I am still not sure what I will buy, I am comparing to the TC30, TC 33, TC40, and a Branson 3520 right now.
Regards,
Jim

I am looking at purchasing a B2910 but have just seen L3130 and was wondering about the differences and the pricing. Can anyone help with some knowledge. Thanks again.

Can't help with the pricing, but if you go to Kubota's website and look at the specifications, you'll see that moving up from the B2910 to the L3130 is just one step up; a couple more hp, a little bigger tractor (length, width, height, and weight), and a choice of 3 different transmissions. The L will handle a little bigger jobs, or do the smaller jobs quicker, if you have room to maneuver a larger tractor. They're both fine tractors.

When I read Bird's comment I couldn't help but think Bird is a true Texan!

True the 3130 is a step up from the B2910...but that is a "Texas" step, at least from the perspective of my B2910 seat... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The L sereies are fine machines...I wish I had more than 4 acres...and that's rounding up... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Flem dog .
As I recall(and my memory is suspect /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) the diference is less than 1500 bucks more like 1000 . ( I could be WAY wrong here as I bought mine as a package deal . 3130hst fel ,woods hog, backblade , and auger . )
I looked at the 2910 VERY seriously . But the difference in weight ,size, and Fel swayed me towards the 3130 .
Either machine was more than I'd have hoped for a year ago when I started looking .
Go down to at lest a couple of dealers, and price the difference . John
