New L3400 arrived yesterday!!!

I was looking at the spec sheet that I have in the owners manual. The L3400 has a dry-type dual stage clutch and live continuous running pto. Not a whole lot of difference between the two tractors that I can tell. I will be trenching power and water out to the barn this weekend and I will get to use a friends boxblade to move some dirt back into the trench. Can't wait to play around a bit and get her dirty. SIR,
in regards to moving the wheels to the widest setting.
i did mine, with some help from my friend, and it was
no big problem. it does help if you have an air compressor,
and a air wrench. i suggest you look at your owners manual,
and see what it says about this. if i remember correctly the
wheels have to be reversed, (right side goes one left side, and
left side goes on right side)

Thanks for the info on the wheels. I have been looking at them and kinda figured I would have to switch the wheels around, but didn't know for sure. I will see If I can recruit some help soon and try it. Again thanks. Gunman

gunman, I had a L3000 DT, same machine, what a sweetheart. I used a Farmi 351P winch for logging, had ag tires loaded but did have a fel and put a large bolder or two in it for steep grades. You should have a weight bar on front and load it with weight to winch logs.
