Already schmoozed the wife.....she likes riding four wheelers so I picked up a new Honda Fourtrax Rancher ES 4x4 last saturday, that outta keep her busy!!

She'll love that. My wife has a red one of those and I have a Foreman. We ride a lot on our land and on trails too.

Congrats. L3400 is on my short list also. Please share your opinion of shuttle position for reverse. I test drove it once. I know on low range you can shuttle it to reverse but you need to clutch. It was a bit rough to me and I did grind a bit. All and all I think it is a capable and totally utilitarian solid tractor. May you have many safe and enjoyable seat time hours. How about some pics"?

I put several hours on it this weekend, the shuttle shift seemed fine on mine, smooth, no grinding. Real satisfied so far.

Congratulations. I've got a L3400 also.

Kubota's done very well with these no frills models - L3400 and L4400.

It has the R4 tires, not my first choice BUT they should do fine for the level ground and soil type we have, also the price was right (to me anyway) to take it with these tires, right at $17K for Tractor, FEL,Rotary mower and blade.

Now you've got me worried!! My dear spouse did not complain when I left the pamphlet for my L4400 around. She did not complain when I told her I had ordered it. She did not even complain when I told her I was getting a double (as opposed to single) garage to store it in. What is she after???
