Welcome to TBN! You're going to love the 4240. If your driveway is gravel then you should go down it and remove any fist sized loose rocks otherwise you'll be replacing shear pins.
I have about 3/4 of a mile I also remove snow on. I have a large dump truck with a plow but found myself using the dozer 3 times a year to push the snow banks back. With the blower that's a thing of the past. At the beggining of the season I keep the shoes on the blower to raise it up as far as possible but once the ground freezes I move them so the blower can get close to the ground. I also plow a couple of times at the beginning of the season to push anything that could get caught in the blower off the road.
