new line up in October

As I am in no rush to by my new BX (plus my dealer can't get them until late August) maybe I should wait for the new line up. Does any body know what (if any) improvements the BX22 or BX2200 will have over this years models.

There should not be any problems finding a BX2200 on a dealer lot. Mine has several. I have also seen several BX22 on rental lots during a recent trip. I doubt there will be significant changes on such a newly designed machine, just incremental improvements. The BX is a darn good unit now with very few real problems and those seem to have fixes that are being incorportated rapidly by Kubota. Kubota uses the CANI principle, constant and never ending improvement--in other words improvements are incorporated without regard to year model as they become availble. This differs from the method used by most US producers who do block point changes often associated with yearly model changes. J

I have found a few BX2200 at two dealers but the BX22 is sold out. Maybe since I'm in Canada, Kubota has sent less of the BX22 and as a result there are waiting lists. I'm in no rush anyway since I only need my BX for November. In the meatime I've been using my father's L4300 with FEL.

Miki, I don't think its only a Canadian problem. The closest dealer to me (south of Atlanta, Georgia) had 1. It was sold and delivered before I could get to see it (3days after I called). The other 2 closest dealers (1 hr away) didn't have any. Went to my in-laws this weekend (2.5 hrs away) and passed a huge dealership (a beautiful sea of orange) in his town. Called this AM to find out they had only received 2 BX22s. The first sold the day it went on the lot. The 2nd one was stolen. So, despite my desire to have a hands-on with this highly respected tractor, I can only use my imagination based upon the flattering comments I have read on TBN. Good luck.
