I have a few questions an maybe some of you who are more experienced in the hydraulic part of my particular tractor may help. First off I have a 706 without a three point, just solid hitch, it has 3 hydraulic ports, 1 on each side and one in the rear. These are controled by the two levers next to the seat, 1 controls left side of hyd port, the other controls right side and rear port. This tractor will have an aftermarket cab on it and I do not wish to cut or splice anything under the floor. I figure I could use a cable controled joystick with the valve hooked to the left hand side port, so I could use the rear port for a disc or digger later. Will this work? Will I have to use a power beyond valve? The joystick valve I was wanting to use is from Surplus Center with 55" cables. It is a open center valve. I really would appreciate your input on this,as the mechanical part I have no problems, just not to familiar with the hydraulic workings on the tractor.
