The dealer I was referring to is Progressive in Opelousas. If you are interested you can swing by there and take a look at them. They were on the side lot (inside the fenced area) towards the back. I find it a bit odd that they were not on display out in front. If I were selling them I would definitely want to show them off /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Hey JKUB:

My brother lives next door to the sales manager there...I believe his name is Lonnie Fontenot. Did he say if they had smaller units ordered?

I also checked out Henderson Implement in Lake Charles the other day. I believe they will beat Progressive's prices, and even include shipping to Bayou Chicot where the tractor will make its home. I'd love to do business with Progressive though.

Oh JKUB, btw:

The reason they haven't been keeping Kubota's out in front of the fence here lately is that somebody drove off with one about a year ago over a weekend. At least that's what Lonnie told me.

I didn't speak to anyone while I was there, I just drove to through the lot and spotted them. Once spotted I got down for a closer look.
I also stopped my the other two dealers in the area and both had one each of the 8540. My sales guy in New Iberia told me that they should have several more by the end of March. I was just checking them out, I am not in the market to buy. I am very happy with my L5030 and it is all I need at this time. I also have an International AV for my garden /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
