Tractor
Sold theKubota L2250DT and now have a Kubota M4900DT
My new tractor was delivered without a hitch. I was a little worried about buying from a distance but it all went like clockwork and I saved in excess of $5000.00. I have only 4 hrs on it but it is great. The 5 cyl. just purrs, the transmission is very smooth and I love the hyd. independent pto. A very easy transition from the L2250. Here are some pics.

Congrats. I just got a 4900 too but in 2WD. Love it so far. Need some more rear ballast because I run out of traction while discing. I have 11 hours on it so far with no complaints.
I am getting ready to have a big weekend with her in 2 weeks or so. Can't wait.

What is the trailer hitch's purpose in the back? Just curious why it's positioned the way it is?

I took a trailer hitch & cut it to fit between my TPH arms, welded 3/4" rods on top of both sides, then a mast to the top for my upper arm. It the nuts for backing up my 20' trailer in tight quarters.

GYRO,
The thing on the back was my homemade "rootripper". I had the old trailer hitch and a few other pieces laying around and had them welded up. I built it for my L2250 and it worked pretty good. If I hooked anything to tuff with the 2250 it just stopped and spun. I tried using it with the 4900 and it lasted about 20 minuets, I hooked a stump and the stump came out but it also twisted the hitch tube pretty bad. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
