New Mahindra 3215 Pics

This tractor looks great, but the sub frame of the loader looks to be a little bit on the low side to me. Just how far off the ground is it?

Now Now Gamble. I think the Cub Yellow is very nice. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifI also think Mahindra Red looks good as well. The fact that the Mitsu. Engine and Drivetrain are under it make it a fine tractor I would guess. My Cub is tough and I don't regret the purchase one bit. I do hate paying Mit. OEM prices for things though. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

What do these compare to size wise and performance wise to a Kubota? Would they be comparable to an grand L? Anyone know a price range for these? This model looks interesting..

Based on what I remember of the Grand L I thought it was a bit larger but I just went to Kubota real quick and it looks like they about the same size in weight and length. The new models should be every bit as good, actually better by the sound and looks, than the older Mitsubishi/Mahindra models.

The 3215 gear also has a shuttle. I can see now this is a good feature with a loader after several "if you can't find them, grind them episodes" with my non shuttle 2615! Live and learn and of course take just a little more time in between direction changes! 426DMB. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

426 I'm confused by grinding gears on your 2615. My older Cub 7234, 23HP, is a full syncro and I can't remember having a problem grinding gears with it. Is your 2615 a syncro or straight gear? Thanks.

Its an optical illusion. The mounts are higher than the axles.
look carefully at the other pictures.

The transmission description straight from the glossy sales brochure says it's a constant mesh on the gear shift and sliding mesh on the range selector for the 2615. The 3215 description says it's a constant mesh on the gear shift and a synchromesh on the forward reverse shuttle.

Ernie, in your picture that has the loader holding the front of the tractor in the air, the angles that are part of the loader frame that attach to the rear axle are clearly below the center of the tire. I guess the question that I want the answer to is, how many inches off the ground are these support bars? Other than that the new 15 series look great. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
