'New Mahindra Red' paint color

Red is resolved, Sunrise Red #7762 it is. How about the gray now?

That is nice to find a match, but for those that want to use the MUSA paint, the dealer can order it with part number “15REDPAINTQT”. As you can see, the part number is a clever disquise and would be a hard code to break.

If it dries smoother and to a harder finish, it seems like it would be worth the few extra bucks if you were touching up a real visible spot, or repainting a hood, fenders, etc. But if you are just spraying an implement that you will then drag in the dirt...it really doesn't matter.

Doug, you are close! "NEWQT10RED02" for the red, and "TYMGRAY10QT" for the gray. This is for 2002 or newer 10 series. Now if you want to do this to Bill6's standards...you have your work cut out for you!

Bill6 truly does set the standard for all of us! I always think in these cases... "What would Bill6 do here"?

I just want it to look reasonably "stock" when I am done. I'm afraid that unpainted (or hand painted) it will always look like a butcher job. If it means paying some guy to give it a blast, what the heck? We have a guy who does that kind of thing on a mobile basis for short money. I may give him a call or buy a detail gun and do it myself.

Being I also operate an automotive collision shop, I have used a acrylic urethane base clear finish on some of the tractor touchup I've done. It has an automotive shine and it doesn't fade, but it is expensive.

I found Rustoleum Sunrise Red 7762 at Lowe's today in the spray can for less than $5. That ought to work to keep the rust down on the loader bucket. The back-ho bucket is black so that's an easy fix.

I just looked it up! It is Passion Red 522 hexidecimal #720000. I just bought my first Mahindra tractor. I have implements I want to paint to match and have for touch up.
