New Mahindra Tees

The tractors are great, the tees- utterly ridiculous, and over priced. I wouldn't wear a shirt that says ride me. If Mahindra wants free advertising, give the shirts away with a tractor purchase. I'll wear mine inside out.
AchingBack,
I am definitely going to buy me a Ride me shirt. It even has my tractor (minus loader, backhoe, and canopy) on it.:D

Call me hard headed or whatever, but I just can't bring myself to pay for the opportunity to wear someone's advertising. If it isn't given to me for free, it doesn't get worn. My dealer gave me a red and black, Angus Valley Farm Supply hat. It has since been worn out. Mahindra had not yet started producing their line of fashions.

I agree 100 percent! Do you think Tiger Woods has to pay for his baseball caps with the check mark on them??/ Yeah, I'll start advertising for Mahindra when they pay the tab as I bought my 6000 back when it wasn't "fashionable" to buy red....I then bought a Mahindra (Bradco) backhoe (w/2 buckets)...didn't get my hat then either. Now that my unit is far out of warranty, I think Mahindra owes me (and a bunch of other folks here, not only a debt of gratitude for doing the research and settling on their units (because they are a great bang for the buck!), but the free advertising we give them here on this great forum. Can I get an Amen from the choir? BobG in VA

Amen, Bob. Very good points. We Mahindra owners are somewhat pioneers in this country. I do not regret my purchase one bit either.

Not to say anything towards Mahindra one way or another, but I think that it is the dealers who would make the call on giving stuff out. So do you guys think that every tractor should come with a shirt and hat along with the owner's manual, or is it that you just want something for nothing? So the guy that buys a 2015 gets the same shirt and hat that the guy that buys a 7520? Or does the guy that buys the 2015 get a pad and pencil and the guy with the 7520 gets the shirt and hat. I never expect anything when I buy a vehicle, why would I expect anything when I buy a tractor? Now we did get 2 hats when we bought our Mustang convertible, but I never expected anything other than the car. Maybe the salesman thought that we would get sunburned, I don't really know or care. I think that the merchandise is to show that you are proud of what you bought, not something that is deserved because you bought it. So if you like the new merchandise, buy some and be proud of it. When your looking at new tractors to buy, and just before you are going to commit to buying, say, "oh by the way this comes with a shirt and hat too, doesn't it?" Maybe then you'll get your free shirt or hat.

Just my take on these things.

Brian, I think you may have missed the point....I never expected to get anything but what I paid for...again, Mahindra didn't have a hat in 2002..nor a tee. What they had was a big honkin' red tractor that from the rear, looked like a tank...if I wanted a hat, I'd have gone to Deere..But now that Mahindra seems to be in the ad business, they should remember the "old days". I bought my Mahindra not to get a "freebie". I bought the tractor because I wanted a Great tractor. Like Brian said, I buy Mahindra merchandise because I am proud of my Mahindra and want others to know I bought RED. I don't know about other dealer's, but my dealer only makes about $300 on a tractor sale. They gave me a cap with their name on it and a likeness of a 6520 on it. That is all. I got a Stihl cap and a Hustler cap when I bought a chain saw and a zero turn mower from the same dealer. These were freebies from the manufacturer's rep. So it would seem it is just a way country boys do business. Mahindra should look into that custom.

Ouch, you guys are getting a bit brutal over a tshirt and cap. No offense guys but you gripe when they don't have merchandise, then gripe when they do have it. c'mon

We normally give out t-shirts to people who purchase a tractor but it says "Red River Tractor" not Mahindra. We've been out of them for a few months though and haven't had time to reorder.

No griping because they have the shirts from me! Although I must admit I won't be buying a "ride me" shirt. The kids shirts are great. Lift spot tees are good too. Now do you need the address to send me a Red River Tractor shirt when you get some more?

sure, drop me a PM....I'll get you one. I actually think we have some in route to us right now.

I have to agree about the "ride me" shirts though, I do see the humor in them but I wouldn't wear one.
