Thanks again for the welcomes, and thanks for the advise from down under m8!
I changed the engine oil and filter. I used shell rotella T 15w-40. I put on a Wix oil filter I got from the auto parts store on a part number cross reference. Interesting it cost 18$ and later I found the kind that was on it for 8$ lol. I checked all the other oils and have been using it around the new place.
I used the front end loader to level out slag I got delivered for the driveway. The tractor worked good and made me almost look like I knew what I was doing lol. I mainly used the front bucket. I had trouble using the box blade because every time the front of the tractor went up a bump or down it would make the box blade dig deep, or just come off the ground making a pile. I'm gonna need some practice with that. I also used my 6' bush hog and cut some of the front pasture. I found a water pipe sticking out of the ground... I guess that used to be a cross fenced horse pasture. It was a geyser there for a bit.
Seems like each time I get on the tractor I get better at running it. It's a lot of fun but does beat you up a bit.
Oh and I think something is wrong with the hourmeter. It has been stuck turned half way to "178.0" for the last few hours I've used it... Either way it still seems pretty tight. Fires up in a fraction of a second. No/almost no smoke.
My kids have come up with a name for it. (Is naming tractors a thing?) "Frank." If any of you have seen the movie "Cars" there is a big mean red tractor (actually a combine, but close enough) that tried to get Lightning and Mader when they were out tractor tipping. So when I redo the paint on the hood I am going to get some custom lettering on the side "Frank."
