New member c/w Brand New CK2610

Hello,

I just joined and I just purchased an CK2610. Only put 2 hrs on it so far but it sure is nice compared to my ford 8N.

I hope to learn alot on the forum and be able to add to the knowledge at some point.

Welcome to the club. Keep her well maintained. I thought I was having an issue in that my battery woud turn the engine over but not enough to boost up the glow plugs for a start. Example; I thouighit an occasioinal screw driver scraping the battery post was good enough to keep things in contact. Not so but I blamed it on a electrical leak. Not so , it was not getting a good charge. $4.00 spent at the auto storer for as post cleaner tool (inside and outside post brushs) did thie trick. I believe tihe simple problem was it was not getting charged by the alternator with the lack of good contact to battery post. It's also been cold to wake up to -20* below zero. Congrats on thiat 2610 purchase.

Welcome fellow 2610 owner. Have just over 22 hours on mine now. Really works well. Cold here but not that cold! Ive done a few things to make mine easier to use so far. Just finished a turnbuckle to Pin stabilizer conversion that I am really loving. But got no complaints about the tractor at this stage.
