new member, first time tractor owner, etc

I live in Northern Virginia, and just purchased 150 acres of land over in West Virginia. It's got an old 1850s log cabin, a matching garage, and a separate barn. As part of the purchase, I got the following items to convey: Kubota L3430, a Cub Cadet riding mower, and a log splitter.

One of my buddies snapped a picture of me starting up the Kubota...


I've already found some great information on this site for collecting and cutting firewood. Looking forward to learning more on this forum.

Wow, that cabin is amazing. You got lucky with the tractor, too. A Kubota 3430 is a great machine. Yours even has the right tires and the better loader, too. Enjoy!
