I've been getting some good information from this forum through Google searches. It has been great for my new to me JD 4300, and solving some of it's problems from lack of care. Even though I have manuals it's good to hear advice from hands on experience. I am looking forward to more involvement.

Iski53, welcome. As to manuals they can be very valuable and should be read. Often you will find the manual gives directions others miss. You can never get better advice than from the person who did the work while the tech writer will have the specs correct.
