Hey there,

My name is Nick, I live in Mississippi and I am curious about where to begin in shopping for a tractor. My father and my uncle have both always owned John Deere equipment, and naturally I would like to follow suite. I am also curious as to the dangers of purchasing used tractors and/or tractor equipment. I am very interested in the John Deere 5000 series tractors. Any advice I can get would help.

Just do some reading in the buying/pricing and you can also do a search for some info. on what type of tractor your looking for... A lot of good info. here.

You always have to be careful when buying used tractors & attachments.

What part of Mississippi? I live in Brandon outside of the capitol and I am somewhat familiar with the several local JD dealers.
