Wife and I signed a purchase agreement on a house with 10 acres to close in mid May. I will be mowing about 3 and brush hogging the atv trails that are on the property. Since we are selling a place with .2 acre I need something a bit bigger than a push mower so I am starting to look at smaller tractors. Not sure if I will go newer or go for something like a Ford N and a finish mower.

To TBN from Alabama. I have 11.5 acres and I have a Compact Utility Tractor, CUT, and would recommend that you get something at least 30 HP. Where you are you will be using it to plow/blow snow also and might want a cab.

Welcome to the site. I also would recommend a 40-50 hp compact tractor with the hydro transmission. And also with a cab.
