Well then you weren't too far from home. Play any of the casinos in St Louis?

Played with another band several years ago at Harrah's (now Hollywood Casino) in St. Louis.

That tribute band mostly plays other concert venues. Casino gigs are a world unto themselves, and are frankly more trouble than they're worth. Believe it or not, they don't pay very well.

Actually I can understand that but never went to one in Alton but in St. Charles. Many, many, many moons ago I took a girlfriend to a Cardinals game one night and the only hotel room we could find was in Alton, IL.

I work at my day job in St. Charles (60 mile trek from home). I've been to that casino once, but never played there. Used to play at a lot of clubs in St. Chuck back in my BarStar days. Alton, too. Can't say I've ever played in Alabama, though. :confused3:
