New member looking for price advice

Hello everyone. I am currently looking to replace a small Deere 185 mower. Don't have a large area to mow but have a large driveway that is a pain when it snows, even with a snowblower. (68 yrs old). Currently looking at a 2010 Deere x728 with 54in deck and a 54" plow. It has 179 hours and seems to be in good condition. (Ihave yet to see it, as I am 4 hours away). I know this would be overkill for my mowing needs. Is $8000 a fair price?

I have a mile long gravel driveway - large yard - extensive maibox area. For 27 years I used my Ford 1700 4WD and a rear blade. It worked great - except it was not heavy enough to clear the snow berms that would form in all three areas. Finally, in 2009 I upgraded to my 2009 Kubota M6040 and Rhino 950 rear blade. No longer any problems with clearing snow berms.

I picked up my Deere X728 with 175 hours, 54" deck , 54" plow & 7 cu ft cart on 1/16/2021. It is in absolutely excellent condition and I very pleased. The 9 hour round trip, some of it in nasty snow was well worth it. Got it below asking price too. :cloud9:
