Lots of potential there.

Plan well and save yourself lots of time and money doing things properly the first time.

Trust me.............I have 118 acres and the work never ends. I love it but have wasted lots of time and money b/c of lack of planning and assessment before projects. I've learned the hard way and do things quite differently now than 9 years ago when we built our place.

BTW, how far is the property from where you live? Some folks on here have built a "camp" at their land to stay in while there on the weekend working. A good example is 3RRL (Rob and Loretta). Search his name and look at their place. They've since built a nice log home on their property. They would go out on weekends and chisel away at the work. Is it possible you could make a temporary living quarters in the loft of your big barn? Man, I bet you'd have a view up there!

This is the barn that I found about a month after I had bought the place. It was so grown up that I could just make out the top of the roof. Makes a nice home for the tractor with a little modification. I believe it was a hog barn at one time.
