You can get a manual for the 4400 through Deere, as well as you can get the service tech manual which is full of "how to do it" and "how to troubleshoot" it.

Google "Deere 4400 compact tractor manual" and see what you come up with. Also, eBay is a source for a manual.

Will be interested to hear about you and your 4400. A great tractor, IMO.

John Deere has copy's of most of their operating manuals on line. Just Google it.

You can get one through Deere, but be ready to pay nearly $100 for the manual. Sad thing is half the manual is in Spanish. They should have an option where I pay $50 & only get the English version.

Check this store out. If he doesn't have it, PM him and he'll get it for you. I personally like the manuals on disc as I can load all my stuff onto a tablet, or if I feel like it, print out section that I want a hard copy of.

I was going to correct you on this but I figured I'd better try for myself first. John Deere doesn't offer this one as a down load link, so I searched for the manual just as the part number and found it at greenparts.com for $61.xx Just Google "OMM135709"
