New Member needing tractor information.

Just retired from traveling job so built a new barn this year at home in Colorado. Now looking for information for a reliable tractor to put in barn and maintain small acreage. Fill dirt tractor job upcoming with retaining wall which will need retaining wall and post. Any advise on small reliable tractor types to consider appreciated.

Many tractors will do what you want and be reliable.

I'd recommend visiting a local dealer who you know or who is known by a friend. Someone you can work with and has been in business for awhile (prolly a reason for that). Go with the brand the dealer will support.

My take would be a tractor in the 35 hp range.

I've a JD 4300 12 years old, and wouldn't want less in size nor feel real compelled to increase its size. Have 20 some acres and use it with FEL, forks, bucket, rotary cutter, tiller, logging, snow removal, etc. etc. etc.

hi i would get a kubota l3400 or a kubota l2800 they are not too big but not to small.

MF has a great line of cuts. Might look at the MF1645 that's a good size tractor for what u would be wanting to do.
