Welcome to the forum - lots and lots of nice folks here with good advice. But - watch out - it can be very habit forming!

I would have to disagree with you there. It's not habit forming. . . .It's TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!!

Tractors are a lot like trucks, or women. You find a type you like and it treats you well then you feel that is the absolute best and everyone should share your opinion. I like the advice but I would be disappointed if on this forum members bashed others or respected others less due to their choice of tractor.

I personally like and respect all types. . . .tractors, that is.;)

You are right!

I noticed in an earlier post that you were not going to buy a tractor with a cab - I don't have a cab either, but I do have a canopy and I really, really like it. I bought my tractor used and it came with it. I am way too cheap to have sprung for the canopy if I were buying a new machine. But now, if I ever replace my tractor, a canopy will be on my list of must haves. The canopy has allowed me to work on some hot, humid days that I don't think I otherwise would have.

Well you didn't ask for any advice, but got some anyway :)

Wilkesland, thanks for the advice. My dealer has the exact tractor with all the specs I am wanting to get. He actually configured it because he knew what I wanted. I think he may be trying to tempt me. Anyway, that tractor has a canopy on it. I think it would be helpful. I actually like the way tractors look a little bit better with just the ROPS without the canopy but the canopy would probably drop the temperature under it by 10-15 degrees. Plus there are lights mounted on it.:)

I'm still not saying what type of tractor I am thinking about because I don't want to jinx anything. The last thing I want to do is say "I'm getting tractor X!" and then problems arise. I'm a little superstitious that way.;)
