Hi. I am a new member, but have referenced TBN quite often. I just bought a used PT-1850. It is old (2003), but low hours. It sat outside a while, so will likely have some things come up from time to time.
The steering went out today after four hours of tough brush-hogging. Had to do a bunch of loops to get it straightened out, but finally got it into the barn. I am hoping it is one of the steering cylinders. The steering seemed slow when I began using the machine a few days ago, but I didn't have a frame of reference. Anyone know how to tell which cylinder is the culprit? It seems to turn to the left more readily than to the right.
Anyway, glad to be here!
